Branson Adoration Parade

Cold as expected with a solid 3 inch layer of snow blanketing the landscape set the scene for Branson's annual Adoration Parade. This years theme "Keeping Christ in Christmas" moved to the Branson Landing for the first time. Religious and Non-Religious participants met spectators lining the street through Historic Downtown Branson before arriving Center Stages where judges viewed and eventually tallied scores.

These pictures of the Branson Landing are posted to give you a snapphot of current development. 500,000 dollars from the recently implemented tourism tax are going to be spent promoting the convention center which is the broad 2 story building you see above. The other shots are of the Hilton, boardwalk and floating restaurant which apparently is without a roof. Posted by Picasa
