The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People: Workshop 2-Day Workshop Now Enrolling for August 12-13, 2008

The workshop is being offered to the Branson/Lakes Area as part of an ongoing process of growth and development. The best way to improve any organization, family, or community is to improve yourself.  This workshop provides participants with a robust and tactical implementation of The 7 Habits into their lives.  This is a must for anyone looking to become a more effective person—regardless of position, or stage in life.  A five-step process will help empower participants: 1. Learn the basic principles underlying personal and interpersonal effectiveness.  These principles are habits of people who consistently achieve their desired results.  2. Commit to live these principles.  3. Apply the principles in daily work and personal situations.  4. Meet periodically to share experiences, account for commitments, and learn new principles.  5. Monitor effectiveness and work for continual correction and improvement.  The Result: As people apply the principles consistently over time, they develop habits of effectiveness.  These habits empower them to become more self-directed and less victimized by external circumstances.  When these habits are widely shared in an organization, the organization can move effectively towards its mission.  In a nutshell, the essence of this valuable training is to equip you with the principles, the perspective, and the tools to achieve your goals and live a rich, rewarding, and balanced life.  Workshop Dates: August 12-13, 2008, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Total Cost: $299 Includes: continental breakfast, lunch, weekly planner, and 7 Habits manual. Location: Ozarks Technical Community College at The Shoppes at Branson Meadows, 4440 Gretna Road, Branson, MO 65616.  To register, contact: Lynda Doepker at 417-447-8904 or doepkerl@otc.edu. Sponsored by the Branson Believers and Ozarks Technical Community College Center for Workforce Development.

Advertising and Sponsorship Opportunity

The Grape and Fall Festival attracts thousands of people to Hollister every year.  Don't miss out on this perfect opportunity to put your company's name in front of thousands of potential customers.  Sponsorships are now available for the 2008 10th Annual Grape and Fall Festival.  These sponsorships are an economical way to effectively spread your message to a very large number of people.  Depending on the level of sponsorship you choose, your business will be listed in all radio advertising for the event, listed in the official festival program, and announced as a sponsor several times from the main event stage.  To secure your sponsorship or for more information, call the Chamber at 334-3050.

Another great advertising and sponsorship opportunity gives your business instant recognition and attention at our monthly luncheons.  Please consider bringing a gift basket or other items to the luncheon to raffle as a door prize.  Your business will be recognized from the podium as the donor of the gift basket.  This is a fun and easy way to advertise your services.  If you have questions, call the Chamber at 334-3050.
